By using screia.com or attending a SCREIA chapter event, you agree to these terms.

Educational only

All content on the site, in chapter meetings, and in member materials is educational and informational only. It is not legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Real estate investing carries risk, including the risk of loss of principal. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should consult qualified professionals before acting on anything you read or hear at a chapter event.

Sponsors

SCREIA is an educational organization, not a referral service, and does not recommend specific vendors. Sponsor relationships are disclosed where they exist. SCREIA is not responsible for the products or services of any sponsor, and a sponsorship is not an endorsement of a sponsor's legal, tax, or fiduciary fitness. Members engage any provider at their own discretion.

Member-shared content and deal discussions

SCREIA is an educational chapter, not a broker-dealer or investment adviser. Member deal discussions are educational only; SCREIA does not vet, endorse, or guarantee any private offering. Many private real-estate investments are securities — consult qualified counsel before committing capital.

Conduct at events

Chapter events are professional networking and education forums. We expect members and guests to treat each other with respect. We reserve the right to remove anyone whose behavior is disruptive, harassing, or otherwise harmful to the chapter.

Solicitation of members for unrelated investment offerings, MLM schemes, or coaching and course sales at chapter events is prohibited.

Intellectual property

Site content (writing, design, code, and any downloadable materials) is owned by SCREIA or its contributors and is provided for personal, non-commercial use by members and visitors. Reproducing or redistributing site content for commercial purposes requires written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCREIA, its officers, members, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or attendance at a chapter event.
